Pickles were explored when various vegetables and fruits were kept in a salty and acidic solution. People could store it for a long time. The product was called as pickle. In ancient times, it was first installed in large cubes made of earth. Clay pots started to be preferred because of the reactions of wood and acid. Today, these types of clay pots have been replaced by plastic and glass jars. Pickles have an important place for Turkish people and it was first produced by the Turkish people.
